Cultifuture Education Student Association, HKU (CEA) was established in 1995 by HKU students as a non-political, non-religious, non-profit registered charitable organization. At its inception, our members recognized the scarcity of educational resources in certain regions of Chinese Mainland, where many students faced the risk of dropping out due to family financial difficulties. With the original intention of improving education in underdeveloped regions in the Chinese Mainland, we began our journey of educational support.
Over the decades, successive Executive Committee Members of CEA have worked with great enthusiasm to support school construction and student funding in Hunan, Guizhou, Yunnan, Hubei, Guangdong, Fuqing, Guangxi and other regions, contributing to education in remote areas. From initial school building projects to today's diversified support forms, our work has evolved while remaining true to its original mission.
We upholds the spirit of "Life Enlightens Life", aiming to transform students' fates through the power of education. Our goals are clear and steadfast: to raise educational funds for students in need and increase public awareness of local educational issues.
As a student organization, our Executive Committee Members work without salary, handling all matters personally with a student-centered approach, demonstrating strong responsibility and dedication.

Guided by the spirit of "Life Enlightens Life", we will continue to promote awareness of rural education in the Chinese Mainland within Hong Kong, drawing more attention to students in underdeveloped regions of the Chinese Mainland and bringing them care and hope.
