In 2006, our association’s subsidizing target had to be changed due to China Government’s introduction of a policy aiding compulsory education in rural areas ‘Two Exemptions and one subsidy’, which benefited mainly the primary and junior secondary school students. In view of this, we adjusted our policy to support senior secondary education in Huaiji County, Guangdong Province. From 2006 to 2009, we had subsidized the school fees of 113 senior secondary students in Huaiji County.
